Practicing secondary language
Depending on the community, students will need to communicate in multiple languages to better serve the group.
Utilizing our cultural
knowledge
Students will utilize their existing and gained cultural knowledge to develop real-world solutions.
Being proactive to better our community
Each team will plan and propose a project to serve their community within a given budget. Vingo will help the winning team bring their project to fruition.
BASIC ELIGIBILITY
To apply, students must:

Participate in the Annual Mid-Autumn Youth Summit.

Attend the mandatory leadership workshop to learn how to pitch.

Complete and submit the “Cultural Pitch Game Team Registration Form" online.
IDEAL TEAM
An ideal team will have:

Associated or participated in a high school VSA/ Asian club
-
Can-do attitude, passion and/or interest in improving their communities
-
Demonstrated leadership ability (e.g., as shown through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities)

FORM A TEAM OF 3-5 MEMBERS
One of the members must be associated with a high school VSA.

ATTEND A LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP
All must attend the training to learn how to define a problem and create a pitch deck.
DELIVER
THE
PITCH
All team members must be present and speak in the 5-minute pitch or 5-minute Q&A session.
PROJECT EXECUTION
Winning team will execute their plan in the next 6 months; and Vingo mentors will help them.
