Program Highlights
The Pen Pal program engages and prepares elementary to high school students from underserved backgrounds by creating a college-going culture at their language schools and connecting them with working professionals of their dreams. The program focuses on cultivating a positive mindset, hobby and career exploration through a series of pen pal exchanges.

Supporting the next generation of bilinguals
Studies prove bilingualism has many benefits. Speaking fluently in a secondary language is a skillset we ask professionals to emphasize in their letters to our students.
Building a
multigeneration community
Each professional is paired with 1 to 10 students based on the student's interest. This model narrows generational gaps and leverages the professional’s wisdom to inspire younger students.
Promoting a college-going attitude
We aim to increase college graduation rates by pairing professionals with at least a bachelors degree to motivate and inspire students to pursue and complete a college degree.
