What is the time commitment?
The teacher will host a 1-hour writing session for your students to write their letters at the beginning of your first semester (end of September and early October). The students are required to write as much as possible in the language they are studying i.e. Vietnamese.
Can I sign up for my children?
Unfortunately not at this moment. Your students must register through their language class. If you want your student to participate, please mention this program to your student's language teachers. She/he must sign up for the entire class. It's crucial that your student must have a language teacher supervising the writing session.
Can I sign up for myself?
Unfortunately not at this moment. When your student receives letters from the professionals, you and your student can read the letters at home. You can also support by giving your student suggestions on what to write in the next letter.
What is the safety and legal protection of our program?
To prevent any inappropriate content and language, we scan-read every incoming and outgoing letter. The student's teacher will be responsible for their student's and pen pal's letters.
